Savills IM appoints Lee Tredwell as Head of Investment, Australia

Lee’s appointment is in line with the firm’s commitment to expand its presence in the Australian real estate market following the opening of its Sydney office in May 2016.

Lee has broad experience across multiple sectors and markets and has to date been involved in over USD 3bn of capital transactions. He joins Savills IM with over 15 years of commercial real estate investment experience, from acquisitions, underwriting and financing through to active asset management, redevelopment and disposals.

 Lee spent 10 years at GE Capital Real Estate where he was responsible for investments in Australia, New Zealand and South East Asia, and has also held senior roles at Abacus Property Group and CBRE.

 In his new role, Lee will be responsible for growing Savills IM’s Australia investment platform and will report into Kiran Patel, Chief Investment Officer.

 He holds a Bachelor of Property Economics (Honours) from the University of Technology, Sydney, and is a qualified valuer, being a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and the Urban Land Institute.
