New Directors appointed for Amsterdam office

Savills Investment Management ("Savills IM"), the international real estate investment manager, has appointed Marcel Fleminks and Edgar Hertog as Directors in its Amsterdam office, further strengthening the firm's expertise and investment management platform as it continues its global expansion.

It also signals the firm’s commitment to the Netherlands, where it has transacted over EUR 300m of deals in recent months and has seen increased demand to deliver high level asset management services.
Marcel and Edgar join Savills IM with over 25 years of experience in commercial real estate investment each, co-founding independent advisory firm Deltastate Makelaars en Vastgoedadviseurs together in 2005. Both Marcel and Edgar have worked closely with Savills IM since 2008, consulting on numerous real estate deals in the Netherlands such as the successful sale of a 11,000m2+ office building in Almere and acquired retail assets in Enschede (Coolcat and Mango) and Tilburg (Aabe Fabriek). With a proven track record in advising investors and their extensive experience of transactions and asset management across multiple sectors, they have an extensive understanding of the Netherlands that will add to Savills IM's existing market capabilities.
