Savills IM expands German capital raising team with the appointment of Viola van der Bosch

Savills Investment Management (Savills IM), the international real estate investment manager, has strengthened its German capital raising team with the appointment of Viola van der Bosch. As Director Business Development, she will be responsible for distribution efforts in the region with a particular focus on DRC Savills IM’s debt offering. She will report to Rena Knöpke, Managing Director and Head of Business Development Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

Prior to joining Savills IM, Viola was at Union Investment Institutional, where she was responsible for product and business development in the areas of separate accounts and club deal products. Prior to this, she worked at HQ Capital Private Equity in the Investment Team and at Morgan Stanley in the Real Assets / Private Equity division, where she gained experience across the entire transaction cycle – from acquisitions to asset management and disposals.
DRC Savills IM is a leading commercial real estate debt manager, lending across the real estate capital structure in the UK and Western Europe. DRC Savills IM (former DRC Capital) was one of the first non-bank lenders in the European lending market, established after the global financial crisis. It was fully acquired by Savills IM at the end of 2021. DRC Savills IM has originated over 150 loans under its High Yield, Whole Loan and Senior Core Plus strategies, totalling c.€5.0 billion.
